The Geevon 22116 Accurate Atomic Alarm Clock automatically sets the hour, minute, and second by radio communication with its built-in antenna, regularly updating from the United States Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. You just need to select your time zone at the setting buttons of the digital travel alarm clock. Additionally, the small travel clock adjusts automatically for Daylight Savings Time (ON/OFF option) in the spring and fall. It supports 7 time zones: -4(AST), -5(EST), -6(CST), -7(MST), -8(PST), -9(AKST), -10(HST).

The alarm clock is battery operated (requires 2 x AA batteries, not included). It has an auto light function - when it is dark, the small travel clock triggers a soft nightlight to illuminate the display automatically after the switch is flipped to "ON". The backlight can also be manually operated (8 Seconds).

The package includes 1 Atomic Travel Clock. The radio controlled signal is WWVB. The backlight lasts for 8 seconds, and it has a smart auto light function. The temperature measuring unit can be switched between °C and °F (hold and press "UP" for 2 seconds to select). The temperature range is 14.2 to 122 Fahrenheit (-9.9 to 50 Celsius) with a tolerance of ±1.8 Fahrenheit (±1 Celsius).

To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place the small atomic clock away from direct sunlight and heat sources or vents. To well receive the atomic signal, place the unit away from large metallic items, thick walls, metal surfaces, or other objects that may limit the reception. Please note that all buttons are temporarily unavailable when the atomic clock is receiving the signal (the whole process may last 1-2 minutes), but everything will be back to normal once the signal is received.

The time of 7 time zones in the United States are pre-downloaded to the clock. All you need to do is select your local time zone and turn the daylight saving time function ON/OFF. No other settings are needed.
