The Wallaroo Atomic Clock automatically sets and updates its time using the WWVB atomic function. With the battery inserted, the clock enters the WWVB search mode to update the time automatically. To ensure better reception, it is recommended to place the clock in an area with a good signal, such as near a window. Additionally, the clock will search for the WWVB signal at 1:00 am, 2:00 am, 3:00 am, 4:00 am, and 5:00 am every midnight to correct the time.

Regarding the signal reception, it is important to note that in most areas, the signal can only be received at night. If the clock does not receive the WWVB signal during the day, it is advised to wait until the following morning, and the clock will be set accordingly.

The clock comes with a fold-out stand, allowing you to place it anywhere you desire. It also has two holes on the back, providing versatility in its placement options. The clock offers two temperature display modes: Fahrenheit and Celsius. You can switch between these modes by clicking the [-.°C/°F] button on the back of the clock.

The clock is equipped with a high-precision temperature sensor that can measure the indoor temperature ranging from 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C).

Regarding the additional features, this CL6009 model does not have outdoor temperature capabilities; however, there is another model, CL7001, that does offer outdoor temperature functionality. Additionally, this clock does not have a backlight feature.

To set the day, the clock will automatically adjust the day when the year, month, and date are set correctly. It is important not to overlook the year setting during the initial setup.
